Terms & Conditions

Price

  • All prices are subject to change without notice (Errors and Omissions Excepted).
  • The purchase price covers goods supplied and packaged, exclusive of installation and maintenance unless expressly stated otherwise.
  • The final price payable shall include Goods and Services Tax (GST), applicable taxes/duties, and insurance/freight/handling charges (unless already incorporated in the quoted price).
  • We reserve the right to revise prices prior to accepting your order.
  • All prices are denominated in New Zealand dollars (NZD) unless otherwise specified.
  • Payment obligations arise upon our acceptance of your order. Quotations are non-binding until formal order acceptance.

  • Include the auction reference number with your payment to expedite order processing.
  • Credit Card (Visa/Mastercard accepted. Payment instructions provided post-auction).
  • Full payment must be completed within three (3) business days following auction/sale closure.

Warranties

  • All products carry a specified written warranty period (exclusions apply to batteries/software in complete units). Contact us during business hours for warranty claims.
  • Faulty items upon delivery: Return shipping costs covered by us via Fastway courier. Standard warranty claims require customer-paid returns. Repair/replacement/refund at our discretion.
  • Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (CGA) rights apply. The CGA ensures goods meet acceptable quality, fitness for purpose, and description standards. For CGA inquiries, contact us during business hours.

Warranty Period

  • Laptop Screens: 1 year 
  • MacBook & Phone Screens: 3 months
  • Batteries: 6 months
  • Adapters: 1 year 
  • Keyboards: 1 year 
  • Repairs: 3 months (covers workmanship/parts post-repair) 
  • Refurbished Devices: 6 months
  • New Devices: 1 year 
  • Other Components/Parts: 3 months

Warranty Terms: 

  • Warranties cover defects in materials/workmanship, excluding accidental damage or misuse. 
  • Proof of purchase required. 
  • Warranty period begins on purchase date.


Delivery

  • Shipping Rates: NZD $8 (Auckland), NZD $9.20 (outside Auckland) per order via CourierPost.
  • Processing: Orders before 2 PM weekdays dispatched same day; post-2 PM orders processed next business day. No weekend/public holiday shipments. Delivery typically within 1-2 business days.
  • Inspection Protocol: Inspect goods before signing. Damaged items must be refused; contact us immediately. Tracking numbers emailed upon shipment.
  • Delivery to specified locations incurs transportation costs unless otherwise agreed.
  • Goods not requiring special delivery terms are deemed delivered when available at our premises.
  • Partial deliveries permitted, each treated as a separate contract.
  • Delivery timelines are estimates; no liability for delays.
  • Freight charges payable by customer unless expressly stated otherwise.

Returns and Cancellations

Returns (Change of Mind)

  • 0-7 days: Full credit (unused, original packaging, resalable condition).
  • 8 days - 6 weeks: 80% credit (unused, resalable condition).
  • 6 weeks - 3 months: 50% credit (unused, resalable condition).
  • >3 months: No credit.

Faulty Products

  • Report defects within 7 days of delivery for full credit. Follow brand-specific return procedures.

Conditions

  • Pre-approved Return Authorization required.
  • Credits issued post-inspection. Items must be undamaged, complete, and resalable (opened packaging acceptable if product unused).
  • Non-refundable original shipping fees. Return shipping at customer’s expense.

*Credits exclude original shipping charges. Final eligibility determined upon inspection.*

Risk and Ownership

  • Risk transfers to customer upon delivery.
  • Ownership retained until full payment received or authorized resale completed.
  • During ownership retention:
    • Store goods separately or mark as our property.
    • Resale authority revoked upon: credit deterioration, default, or written notice.
  • We may reclaim goods without liability for access-related damages. Resale proceeds offset customer debts.
  • Resale proceeds held in trust: our share equals outstanding debts; balance payable to customer.
  • Price recovery actions permissible irrespective of ownership transfer.

Guarantees

  • Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (CGA) excluded for business-purpose acquisitions.
  • On-supply terms must exclude CGA for business use and notify consumers of no repair/spare parts guarantee.
  • No express guarantees provided (as defined by CGA).
  • Customer indemnifies us for CGA claims by end consumers (up to resale margin).
  • Terms do not contravene CGA where prohibited by law.
  • Liability limited to statutory obligations; all other warranties excluded.

Repairs and Replacements

  • No commitment to repair facilities/parts availability.
  • Defective goods may be referred to manufacturers at our discretion.

Default

  • Late payments incur 2.5% monthly penalty (calculated daily) + GST.
  • Customer liable for debt recovery costs (legal/collection fees).
  • Contract suspension/termination permitted upon default.
  • Immediate payment due upon default event.
  • Default Events: Contract breach, insolvency, liquidation/receiver appointment.

Use of Information

  • We may collect/share credit information with agencies for assessment/collections.
  • Notify us of material changes to provided information.
  • Privacy Act 1993: Individuals may access/correct personal data.

No Liability

  • No liability for delays/breaches or consequential losses (data/profit loss).
  • Liability capped at goods/services value; excludes consequential damages.
  • Force Majeure: Released from obligations due to strikes, natural disasters, legal constraints, etc.

Indemnity

Customer indemnifies us against liabilities arising from their acts/omissions under this agreement.

Cancellation

  • Termination rights upon: business cessation, insolvency, or uncured breach (14-day notice period).
  • Repossession rights for unpaid goods. Termination preserves pre-existing liabilities.

Waiver

Rights enforcement/non-enforcement does not prejudice future actions. Waivers require written authorization.

Assignment

Customer may not transfer rights/obligations without our prior written consent.

Governing Law

New Zealand law governs this agreement. Parties submit to NZ court jurisdiction.

Other Agreements

  • These terms apply universally to goods supplied by us.
  • Supersedes prior agreements/representations unless expressly amended in writing.
  • Conflicting terms resolved in favor of this document.
  • Invalid clauses do not affect remaining provisions.
